The ELL Ambassadors program has started various clubs at Doolen Middle School with the goal of providing interest-based, peer language socialization opportunities for English Language Learners.
Arizona College Prep Academy Charter High School (2015)
For my dissertation research in spring 2015 I taught an American Government course in Spanish & English using the 2-1-L2 modified dual-language model. I also currently (fall 2015) teach an Intercultural Communication course, the base course for the on-going telecollaboration project with this U.S. high school and the Colegio Montfort, in Mazatlán, México.
Davis Bilingual Magnet Elementary School Program Review (2014)
I have developed an online application code timer http://codetimer.com to measure the percentage of Spanish vs. English used by teachers in the classroom as part of a programmatic review of the dual language program at Davis Elementary School, Tucson, Arizona
